Spencer has debated for two years at Arlington High School in Massachusets. He qualified for the Gold Tournament of Champions, NCFL Nationals, and NSDA Nationals, finishing the 2024-2025 season ranked in the top 10 of the National Debate Coaches Association rankings. His notable accomplishments include finaling at TOC Digital 2 and placing in the top 10 at NSDA Nationals in Big Questions debate. Spencer also founded and led his middle school’s debate program, where he taught students essential debate and public speaking skills. His favorite part of teaching is helping students develop their unique style and gain the confidence to deliver outstanding speeches.
